Every conceivable urn is available to purchase online.

So many options are offered, you may want to choose several.

None of the urns requires a large quantity of remains. You may choose to dispense your remains in five miniature urns, one for each of your closest friends or perhaps one for each grandchild; you could have some remains used in cremation jewelry, and you could have the balance of the remains interred in a cemetery with a grave marker or scattered over one of your favorite locations.

Traditional Urns come in every size, shape and color. Some are boxes made from wood. Others are glass. Some are pottery.

Mini-Urns are a new product. These little urns allow a number of people to cherish a small portion of the cremated remains.

Urn Jewelry is another new treasure. You can have jewelry made that incorporates a small portion of remains. The jewelry can be something like a locket with ash inside or a piece that incorporates ash into its design. Some of the most beautiful urn jewelry consists of a glass ornament that contains a swirl of ash inside the glass piece.

Scattering Urns are urns specifically made for remains scattering by boat. These urns are designed to float for a few minutes before gently gliding below the surface. These urns are biodegradable and often emphasize nautical themes.

Modification of an Existing Item to create an Urn.  If you want an urn made from your favorite novel, golf club or chair, you can send the item to one of these companies to be converted into an urn.

Teddy Bear or Plush Urns are touching. These urns are stuffed animals with a small pocket in the back where the cremated remains are stored.

Fine Art Urns made from glass, wood or metal are stunning.

Paintings containing cremated remains is another option. The artist mixes cremated remains into the paint before it's applied to the canvas. The resulting paintings are a vibrant expression of a human life. This is not really an urn, but it is a unique way to store cremated remains.

Picture Frame Urns cover the cremated remains with the image of the deceased. Usually a small pocket in the frame allows for storage of the remains.

Garden Items. Quite a few companies make urns that resemble natural garden stones. These stones can be engraved. These urns are especially popular for pet owners. Another choice is park bench urns.

Urn fountains are water fountains with a pocket, usually in the base, where cremated remains are stored. The soothing sound of the water makes for a peaceful setting for this urn.
