What is the Product Gallery?
The Product Gallery is a product-centric informational tool for browsing funeral and memorial products and services that are available for delivery anywhere in the United States.  It is designed to assist pre-need and at-need consumers find the exact product or service they need for a funeral, memorial, or end-of-life celebration.

The Product Gallery is not a store.  Vendors include their products in the Product Gallery and if consumers are interested in the product they click through to the vendor’s own web site.

The Product Gallery will eventually include over 40 categories of products and services.    Popular categories will be further segmented by appropriate sub-categories.  In the Urns category, for example, there are over 40 sub-categories (Wood Urns, Brass Urns, Scattering Urns, Custom Urns, etc.) to help consumers quickly find their product of choice.

Why should I list my products or services in the Product Gallery?
The Product Gallery will be the most comprehensive collection of funeral and memorial related products on the web.  In the Product Gallery consumers can research funeral products and services on one site, in an easy-to-use and consistent format rather than bouncing from site to site. Clicks will be motivated by an interest in a specific product, not a general "look-see" visit generated by the likes of Google or Yahoo.

How do I list my products or services in the Product Gallery?
It’s easy.  And there are no upfront fees – you pay only when potential customers visit your web site.

1.Set up a vendor account
2.Upload a few products or thousands (one-at-a-time or by bulk upload)
3.Identify the categories, and if appropriate, sub-categories for each product
4.Indicate how much you will pay for each click-through to your web site

You can set a daily limit on how much you want to spend.  You can edit product listings at any time.  You can view real-time reports on the effectiveness of each product listing.  You can cancel listings at any time – there is no long term contract.

Your bid amount determines your listing position within each category/sub-category.

Your credit card will be billed on a monthly basis.


What does it cost to be listed in the Product Gallery?
There is no cost to list your products in the Product Gallery.  You indicate how much you are willing to pay for each click-through from the Product Gallery to your web site.  There is a minimum click-through amount of .10₵, ten cents. You can set a daily spending cap for as low as .10₵, ten cents, a day!

The higher your bid the better placement your product will have within its category/sub-category.  The product with the highest bid within a sub-category gets its product image placed on the main category page where visitors navigate into the various sub-categories.  You can change your bid amount at any time.



Are there other web sites doing something similar?
Nope, the Product Gallery is unique.  While it functions similar to search engines like Google and Yahoo it is a product-centric tool as opposed to a company-centric tool.  The search engine keyword advertisements generally send traffic to the home page of the vendor.  With the Product Gallery, potential customers are sent directly to the product page of the vendor’s site.  This provides a more satisfying experience for the consumer and lets the vendor provide the best selling pitch for the exact product the consumer has indicated interest in.



How do you protect against click fraud?
We have put in place a number of mechanisms to protect against click fraud.  Our internal algorithms analyze traffic to eliminate duplicate clicks and suspicious patterns of clicks.  Additionally, we provide full transparency to vendors by providing detailed traffic reports on every click-through for which they are charged.



How do I see reports on my product listings?
You can check on the number of impressions and clicks to your listings at any time. We will also email you a monthly report.

  • Click on the Advertisers on the bottom menu of every page of www.thefuneralsite.com.

  • Click on  Product Gallery Advertisers Log-in Here.

  • Enter your user name and password.

  • Click on the option for Reports.

  • You will then see the number of impressions and clicks for every product you have in the Product Gallery. For more detailed information, click on the underlined number of clicks for a particular listing and see the date, time and IP address for the clicker.



We don’t sell retail.  Can we use the Product Gallery for demand generation?
Absolutely.  If your products aren’t in the Product Gallery there’s a very good chance that many customers will end up buying someone else’s product because they weren’t even aware of your product.  You can’t sell a product if potential customers don’t know it exists.

On your web site product pages you can direct customers to the funeral homes or other agents that sell your products.  This is a great benefit to help your current resellers and to help attract new resellers.
